This test is performed by applying localized light to a specific area to evaluate the durability of solar cells that have developed a hot spot and to verify the aging performance of solar modules.

  • The entire testing process is controlled by an industrial computer, and 100 test cycles are automatically performed.

  • With automatic control, the brightness of the light source can be adjusted automatically to ensure constant current output from the battery cell.

  • The voltage, current, and temperature parameters of the battery cells are recorded in real time, and all data curves are displayed in real time.

  • The infrared heater and lighting equipment can be precisely positioned over the selected battery cells by moving them longitudinally along sliding rails and laterally on a conveyor belt.
